Increase Magnesium to Lower #Stroke Risk

Minimise Stroke Risk with Magnesium

If you or any of your close relatives have suffered from a stroke, you may benefit from increasing your magnesium levels.  For every 100mg per day increase in magnesium intake, the risk of ischemic stroke, one of the most common types of stroke, which happens when a blood vessel supplying blood to the brain becomes blocked, decreased by 9%.

It is possible to check whether you have enough magnesium by a simple blood test which we use in my clinics. (Ed: I use red blood cell Mg which is more effective than serum testing.)
